Thanks for your response Jon! Thank you also for the list of additional schools, I will spend more time researching these.

The degree I mentioned as Integrated M.Sc Economics is a 5 year course which gave me B.Sc (H) + M.Sc. So, that's the only grade I have for my bachelors and masters together. This aspect of my resume does give me goosebumps, but I need to find a way to provide supporting facts that could make it look less bad. I am currently thinking of elaborating on my extra-academics and my industry internships during the summers. Do you think this is a good way to approach it? I would love to go through any advice that you might have given to other students on this, if you have any links to them.

Aha! I didn't get that. Allright then - well like I mentioned the grades a wee bit under what we like to see, but you DID graduate from an IIT.

So that's the first good thing. the second is that your GMAT is 730. Which is basically the best thing you can do to deal with low grades by proving that you are smart.

I don't think your grades are sooo low that you would need to write an essay about them or "Explain" the grades, because like I wrote, they aren't bad, just could be better. So I would just say - focus on the other aspects of your profile and make a great application.

Hope this helps,
Jon
