Hi kapurshrey,
Thanks for your post! (and quick note/disclaimer, fyi MrJglass is not affiliated with
mbaMission, just fyi).
So as you may know, schools will look holistically at your profile, and are particularly interested in a) academic ability, b) leadership history and potential, and c) community engagement & personal character.
Your academics look solid, so you've demonstrated that you can handle the programs. That will not be a concern or weakness for you. And among male Indian engineers, those stats DO tend to be competitive, so it is necessary but not sufficient that you have demonstrated this academic ability.
Your work experience, while the info we have here is limited to a few lines, sounds interesting as you've described it, and I like that you've had leadership roles, had experience with a start-up as well as a larger leadership rotation/program. You could hopefully share some interesting stories of your work with clean energy in Germany that would indicate you'd have good experience to contribute to classroom discussions. Having the international experience is also a plus.
I like that you do have some extracurriculars, though the more recent, and more frequent your involvement, the better, and something even more community-focused would be even more ideal.
Finally there are still a lot of elements that we don't know here that would come through in your apps, including who you are as a person, what other life stories you have, what are your traits and strengths, how you'd interact in a group or class discussion, what your future ambitions are, why each school is right for you etc. Your essays, recommendations and interview will all give the admissions committees a better feel for just who you are and that can make a large impact on their decisions.
All that said, you have a competitive profile (it appears so far) for strong MBA programs, but just keep in mind that these programs do turn away well-qualified applicants each year as they simply do not have space to accept them all. So there are no guarantees, and for better chances overall, you may wish to add a couple of slightly safer programs as well to your list. Also keep in mind that Stanford in particular often accepts only 5-6% of applicants, which is quite extremely competitive... so it's a bit of a shot in the dark even for strong applicants. Just something to be aware of going into it... doesn't mean don't try if you are set on going for it, but important to realize how tough it is.
