Hey Jon,

Hope you are doing well. Thanks a lot for your suggestions to my earlier post, and like a lot of the people posting on this forum, I'm also very grateful for your (free :P) advice.

I have a follow up question. As i had mentioned earlier, i will be applying to colleges in R1 2016. And my short term goal is to get into consulting post MBA. Given all that, does it make sense for me to try and get into a boutique Indian consulting firm and get some experience under my belt? Or would that be a red flag for the Adcoms?

BTW, whats with those questions on the free consultation page of your website! Are you trying out some weird psychology test on me?

Haha! It is a psychology test indeed. Only when we know your deepest secrets can we help you ;)

For your follow up question, I have two thoughts:
First if your goal is consulting and you are getting into consulting, this is only good. As you are moving closer towards your goals and it makes you more hireable (Its also very good in terms of real life (i.e. non MBA strategy). Meaning if thats what you want to do, its good for you to do it.
Secondly, the caveat is that it has to be a BETTER job than the one you currently have. If that's the case, go for it.

Best,
Jon
