Hello,
I am Indian IT male software Engineer,I need help in shortlisting B-schools given my nature of profile and the high amount of applicants for similar profiles
Undergraduate degree: Electronics and Communication Engineer
Undergraduates: 7.7/10 (Amrita School Of Engineering)
High School (12th) : 95.7%
Work Experience (Infosys Limited)
Have 3.5 years of work experience in multiple projects and domains. Initially I started working in a project fr US based medical equipment manufacturing company.I was owner of 2 critical modules and had regular client interactions with the QA manager and also higher management(As the module was a critical deliverable).
Then I shifted into data migration project with a 15 member team and lead 1 module with a team of 4 members. As the deadlines were strict, we were able to deliver on time and won appreciations for the same. My next project was
for Microsoft client on CRM and BI based projects. Led a 3 member team in data analysis and data modelling for design of integrated reporting Framework.Was also part of the Test strategizing,Test planning and work allocation and project management.
Extra Curricular:
Was an Active member of Socio-Economic club in college.Organised Cultural events, to raise funds for charity. Organised fund raising camp,medical equipment for Local government schools. Active member of the technical fest organising committee and all round participation in sports, drama etc.
Community services:
1.An active member of ARMS (Autism Research and Multidisciplinary School) foundation which specializes in providing education and care for special children with mainly autism spectrum disorders and other conditions such as Downs, Cerebral Palsy (CP), Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) .Volunteered in Autism Awareness walk
2.Member of Youth seva foundation. (YFS)
Volunteered in English tutoring classes to underprivileged kids. Reading stories to kids with mentally challenged children, organizing regular picnics and volunteered in medical camps for visually challenged and hearing impaired students
My preferences of a MBA degree is (Finance (my interest), Operations Management (To diversify my field of opportunities and to gain more insights on multi dimensional sectors and work cultures), Information management (As I already have corporate experience in this domain). Looking for oppurtunities in financial consulting firms
Please suggest if there are any chances for admissions into top 20 universities. Also suggest any other good univs (Preferring University of washington , kelley)
Also suggest some good international universities (NUS, HEC,Warwick etc)

That's a nicely detailed description, although you missed out your GMAT score, unless you have still not taken it. So a lot will depend on what that score is, because the GMAT is an important criterion for the Indian IT male applicant- a category to which you belong.
Your work experience is along the expected lines from a guy with your profile. Do emphasize upon your achievements and impact in the essays. Your experience at ARMS can help you set yourself apart- did you take any leadership responsibilities there or initiate something new/ a new approach ?
For the sake of the application, you need to be more certain about your career goals. Is it going to be financial services/ operations/ It consulting? All three are as different as chalk from cheese, they require a different skill set and they require a somewhat different path that you will select at b-school in order to attain any one- so you will need more clarity here. Moreover, your career goals will tie in what you have done in the past - I am not sure how a finance role fits in there. Do throw some light on this.

First Of all, thanks a lot for replying to my request. Actually I specified my GMAT score in the title. My score is 680-V35/Q48.
Regarding My preference, MBA Finance is something which I am interested in. Though I do not have much of a prior experience ,I wanted to make a career shift as I am interested in it. Please advise, as to how I could project my interest and Still convince the admission.My secnd pref
