Yes, that sounds like a good idea. Please note that 6 schools is a heavy lift for any round, but if you get started early you should be able to pull it off. Our recommendation would be to get going on the elements that you know are going to be fairly standard (CV/resume, recommendation letters, high-level essay topics, tests/paperwork) so when the essay topics are released you will have maximum time to apply.
