Hi, I would be very much grateful if you could evaluate my profile for HBS/Wharton/CBS
Undergrad: B.A. Law at Oxford
GPA: 2nd Class Upper Honours Degree (How does this translate?)
GMAT: To be taken, at the very least a 700 (from practice scores)
WE: Infantry Platoon Commander (Commissioned Officer) in the Army (part of military service, think Israel, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan etc.) for 2 years and 3 years of corporate law experience (M&A and Capital Markets) at a Vault Top 5 law firm in London and Hong Kong.
References: Major backers with snazzy titles who will bend over backwards to write an outstanding personalised reference.
Extra Curriculars: Solid leadership experience at undergrad and currently on the sub committee of a major national charity
Aims: Leverage my legal background and work in IBD, on wall street (simple and no bs)
Worries: Lack of ECs and lack of a 1st Class Honours degree.
How else could someone with my background improve his profile? CFA? Alternate transcripts?Better ECs, if so what kind??

Hello there,
So overall you have a pretty sweet profile. Lawyers from top firms do pretty well in B-school and your Platoon commander work will be more awesome too (and probably give you great stories).
The most important thing is the GMAT. Get a 720+ with a TOEFL of 108+ then Top 10 are in range.
If you lack ECs/Volunteer work, find some NOW!!!! Better late than never
