Is there any chance you can improve your GMAT score to somewhere in the 760 range? Your GPA is quite low, as you point out, but having Google on your resume definitely helps to compensate for that. A very high GMAT would really make a difference in your case & would make top ten schools a real possibility for you. Your current GMAT is pretty average, and it's on the low end for your demographic (you'll be competing against people coming from IITs who also have scores in the 740 range). That said, very few of those applicants will have experience at Google & most will also have very technical backgrounds. Your business experience will set you apart, especially since it's at Google.
I do think it's still worth applying to schools in the teens if you're unable to budge that GMAT score. You can include some top ten as reach schools, and then target schools like Tepper, UNC, Emory & UT Austin to round out your list.
