octanemethane:
Thanks for reaching out to the GMAT Club community. As for the information you have provided, here a few points for you to consider:
(1) "Expected GMAT" is nice but the actual score is what really matters. How confident are you that you will score 740+? What do you anticipate will be the Verbal vs. Quant split?
(2) You are slightly on the older side, but you are still well within the range of acceptances for most full-time MBA programs. Applying in R1 is smart.
(3) Your GPA of 3.3 is on the lower side. A high GMAT can help mitigate that somewhat, but it could be a small red flag.
(4) How important is this research? You have 4 papers written. When did you write them? How impressive is this work relative to your other experiences?
(5) Do you have any extracurricular or leadership activities you can share? You did not list any.
(6) Your work experience sounds great in terms of longevity, but there is so much to unpack. Not sure if you want to share here, but your accomplishments, titles, etc. matter a lot.
When we typically evaluate profiles, we also like to know your target schools. That is the missing X factor. A good profile for one school may not necessarily be a good profile for another. Each school has a somewhat different set of standards and fit. Do you have any idea where you might want to attend?
Thanks,
