Hi,
I wish to apply to Full time regular MBA programs in Canada, Fall 2019

Profile:
B-Tech in CS - 65.4% overall
- 71.8% (last 2 years-98 credits)
2 years work experience - IT Company
GMAT score - 700
IELTS - 7.0

Universities applying to -
U of Alberta
U of Windsor
U of Waterloo
Concordia University
U if Manitoba
Western University
Ryerson University

I will try to apply as early as possible in 2nd week of October, 2018

I think, I have low GPA which might be a problem.
Please suggest

Hi SRGCanada,

Thanks for reaching out. Yes your overall GPA is a bit low, though likely still in range for the programs you are considering. GMAT is more recent, and a great indicator of your success in an MBA program. But you may want to write a brief optional essay addressing the low GPA, especially if there are circumstances that contributed to that.

My other concern is that 2 years work experience is a bit light...again, still in range but likely below average for those programs. Do you have examples of leadership so far in your job? Make sure those are highlighted on your resume, and in essays too. Also make sure you articulate very clear reasons for why you need your MBA now (in your essays, and interviews when it comes time).

Happy to help. I think you've got a pretty solid list, so don't see a huge need to add more. And doing more than 6 or 7 schools is tough to manage. Perhaps DeGroote? That might be one other to add that I've heard of.
