The question "How much GMAT score needed" is not the right one to be asking. You will definitely have a good chance at the schools if you manage an exceptional test score that will prove your academic bent. Your GMAT score is the one variable that will actually make your case significantly better.

I recommend getting a score first and then think in this direction.
