First of all, thanks in advance for your time!

Age: 28
GMAT: 710

-2.92 GPA (Government and Legal Studies). Somewhat of an upward trajectory. Weak Freshman and Senior years. 3.59 - Junior year.
-Weak grades in quant courses during Freshman and Sophomore years. Taking two quant classes at UCLA extension now to help remedy the issue.
-Varsity Athlete

Work Experience
-Ran a state politician's re-election campaign team just after graduation. Promoted to within a month. 6 months total.
-Commissioned as an active duty Naval Officer 6 months after graduating Middlebury.
-LT (O-3). About 5 years of service upon applying.
-Manage 110 Officers

Interested In: Tuck, Fuqua, Darden, Ross, Johnson, McCombs, and Owen
Short Term Goal: Consulting/PE
Long Term: Manage family's small cap PE/conglomerate firm

Any insight would be greatly appreciated! Also, please suggest any schools I haven't mentioned that you think would be good matches. Thanks again for your time.

You are definitely an interesting case! Your GPA is on the low end for sure, but lucky for you the adcom loves military applicants & the also love family business applicants & those two factors will go a long way towards compensating for that GPA. I think you've got a good list & you definitely have a shot at all of these schools. A 710 is a solid GMAT but if there's any way you can increase your score to ~730 that would make a big difference in terms of you candidacy at places like Tuck, Duke, UVA & Ross, which will be a bit harder to get into than the others you listed. You might want to also consider going straight to the family biz after graduation. From the adcom's perspective, that would mean you've got guaranteed employment (as well as the opportunity to have big impact since it is a family biz) -- and that would weigh in your favor.
