From belgium
Background:
Bachelor of commercial engineering: ~65% (had some health problems ans issues which hindered me from proving my full potential)
Master of commercial engineering (major in finance): currently in my 2nd masters year. expect GPA 75-80%
Exchange Semester at Kedge Business school, grande ecole master of management program
*for those not familiar with commercial engineering: it as an extension to applied economics and involves advanced math, advanced operations research, time series, programming, physics, ...
GMAT: not taken yet, but I did a simulation on the LBS site (without any prep) 2 times, 51 on quant both times, 670/680 estimated GMAT. -> I think I can easily push it above 700 once I prepared more for it (failed mostly all questions in sentence correction, aced all the other questions both times)
internship: at a growing engineering company, developing profitability and business models.
Schools I want to apply for:
SSE: MSc in finance
Rotterdam school of management: MSc finance & investments/MSc finance & investments advanced
For those wondering why I want to do a seconds masters: I want to deepen my knowledge, strengthen my skills, and ultimately having attented a top school will certainly help my career.
Thanks in advance!
