Profile Evaluation: MSc Finance (LSE)

Question

Hi guys, I know that the application for many master admission have closed but I just want to get a feeling how my hypothetical chances are to get admitted to MSc Finance at LSE.

Education: BSc in Business and Economics from a Swedish University (Lund/Uppsala)
Major: Financial Economics
GPA: 3.89 / 4.0

Age: 26
Sex: Male

Work experience:
2 yr Analyst (DCM/Lev. fin.) at a BB in London
9 month part-time analyst (S&T) at a Nordic investment bank
Summer internship (DCM) at a BB in London
8 month part-time analyst at Risk unit at Nordic bank

Extra curricular activities:
Head of Career Preparation in the finance society. Created a mentorship program for students to get internships in investment banking
Founder of a Macro Research team publishing monthly papers via the university

GMAT: Haven't done the actual test: but practice test range around 710-730

Motivation (in short):
Want to move back to the Nordics in the near time future. Want to jump to a Nordic PE firm.
In the Nordics they require you to have a MSc even though you have relevant work experience.

What are my chances to get into MSc Finance at LSE next year? Adding that I will have an additional year of work experience.

I would say your odds are pretty much guaranteed. UG GPA scores are great. Work experience is really good. As long as your GMAT is appropriate, I should see now issue.

Below is my profile, i'm planning to apply for MSc Finance and PE

1. 4yr's of Work experience - KPMG (2Years as Audit associate), Brahmi Realty (Co-founder, Real estate project restructuring)
2. Cleared CFA L1, appearing L2 in June 2020
3. CGPA - 4.5/6. BCom, St. Joseph College of commerce. (Bangalore, India)
4. Hosted a Finance club during college time and served as president for one year.
5. College brand ambassador for WeChat 
6. GMAT - 550

Any suggestion are recommendation will be really helpful.

I think your profile is pretty decent. As far as academics are concerned you have a pretty good GPA. However, schools in UK gives more preference to students who have graduated from a reputable university. In your question you have mentioned two universities. I would really appreciate your input for some clarity. Your work experience is pretty decent as well as having names like Nordic investment bank on your resume earns you extra brownie points as they are reputable brands. Your extracurricular activities are also impressive as they are in sync with your professional achievements. Having experience related to finance works for your application.
However, for schools like LSE which are super competitive you will be competing with applicants with a far stronger profile. So, having certifications like CFA and a strong application would help you differentiate yourself from the pool. Since, you have a year in hand you have more time to build your profile for LSE.
