Background: 28-year old Indian Male working in the Corporate Intelligence/Travel Risk space
GMAT: Taking it next month, but generally expecting low 700s
Education: Bachelor of Business Administration 2:1 - Middlesex University (Dubai, U.A.E)
Professional Experience:
1. Internship with one of the largest players in the global protection services space (Gardaworld) for 8 months in Dubai
[Moved to Mumbai to be with family and did the following below:]
2. 2 years with a Tel Aviv-based intelligence firm (MAX Security services) from Mumbai, left after being promoted to Intelligence Manager in my last month [In charge of the Europe and Americas region]
3. 1 year with the largest travel risk firm (International SOS) in one of their pioneering projects as a Security Specialist (general background of people here is a Masters in Political Science/Conflict from LSE, King's College, SOAS, etc) [Overseeing the South Asia region]
4. Recently started working as a "Risk Intelligence Analyst" with Worley (large Australian energy/construction company) in a dynamic sort of role. Enterprise risk management/business analytics/strategy [Working on global projects, not limited to one region]
Did some freelance sort of roles in Dubai too, total experience would add up to 3.5-4 years
Extracurricular Activities
Run a bunch of Reddit communities with over 18 million subscribers, set up interviews with authors, run a bookclub, liaise with media about dramatic events occasionally
Goal:
Ideally end up in a consulting role using what I've learnt about business continuity and operational challenges in my previous roles in a more "traditional" format and of course, breach the generational wealth divide
Colleges Aim:
Harvard, INSEAD, Kellog or any T15 that offer me a full ride
I aim to be applying for the 2022 intake if my profile is suitable or I would wait and apply for 2023
