Thanks for providing me the opportunity to request a profile evaluation. Please let me know what my chances are.
Basics: 34/F/Indian/10+ yrs work exp (in HP for 1 year, and now a Software development Technical Lead for a major financial firm in USA)
GMAT: 720 / 4.0
Undergrad: B.E in Computer Engineering (87% / GPA - 3.3) from a top-5 State university in India
EC: Limited. My dad passed away in my second year at college. So I helped with my family business with some accounting stuff. After moving to US, I worked with a small group of Indian kids teaching them about Indian culture, history and performing arts. Recently, I started a kids chess club to help students who are interested in chess to learn/play/teach chess.
Goal: Since I am an IT person in financial services industry, I would like to get stronger on finance. This would be a good plus when I move into general management. ( My company would sponsor a portion or all of the tuition depending on how successful I am at convincing them.)
List of schools: Harvard/Wharton, Kellogg, Duke, Columbia
Other: I took 6-month leave of absence when my second baby was born, and worked part-time for 3 years following that.
Would my age,part-time and leave of absence affect my chances?
