Thanks for the commments

The reason I'm only applying to those schools is because I'm pretty much bound to NYC. Otherwise, yes, choosing just those 2 schools is dangerous.

I like my essays, and have had them edited by 2 friends, who i trust. Do you guys also recommend getting them reviewed by someone from Kaplan/ManhattanGMAT or someone who is a little closer to the process?

It doesn't hurt to have your essays reviewed by more people. You can always decide whether or not to take any feedback they give you.
