I will be grateful on your suggestions on my profile. I am targeting for 2012 session.
Indian, Male,25 Years.
GMAT : 730 - 49(Q), 41(V)
TOEFL : 113 -30(READING),29(LISTENING),27(SPEAKING),27(WRITING),
GRADUATION: Electronics Engg. from a reputed Indian University with CGPA OF 7.45 OUT OF 10 (sorry dont know how to convert that to GPA)
Secondary School :80%
High School : 90% (was third in school)
Work Ex : 3 years in India. Working as Senior Field Engineer for a leading oil exploration company...work involves getting geological data for hydrocarbon evaluation.Lead various multinational teams of 3-5 co-workers. Interaction with clients such as ONGC, NIKO,RELIANCE etc.Working as a team-leader.staying in remote locations.2 promotions in 3 years.Over-all incharge of the base.Report to operations manager.
Responsible for
1. Material management of base
2. Client interaction
3. Training of co-workers
4. Health and safety regulations enforcement
5. Job Planning and execution
Professional Achievements:
1. Earned highest ever monthly revenue for a base
2. Done many challenging jobs and got appreciation by the clients for same
Courses done :
1. Radiological safety officer from Bhabha Atomic research center
2. Personal survival techniques in sea
3. Helicopter underwater escape training
International Exposure : None
EC: interested in reading and photography.Involved in organizing communal festivals. Well informed about world affairs. love to read world history.
Strengths:
1. Hard-working and dedicated
2. Eager to gain knowledge
3. Like to do physical work
Weakness:
1. No international exposure
2. Low EC
Post MBA goals: Want to work in international organizations such as UN.
My target schools are:
LBS, Wharton(dual degree with MA in international relations), INSEAD, COLUMBIA,IE,IESE, HEC,ESADE,CAMBRIDGE,OXFORD,Imperial college
Please let my know my chances in getting to these schools. Also let my know any other colleges if the above listed one are not for me.
Also i have heard about International Organizations MBA from Switzerland.What are my chances of getting into that program and placement statistics of that program.

So Harsimran, I see you are going for the global programs!
Now as far as your goals go, two comments: First of all, when you say "International Organizations" like the UN, it's not entirely clear what you want to do. Do you intend to stay within your industry and for example work for some sort of Energy commission of the UN? Or are we rather talking about a career change and going to NGO type industry? Second comment - you might want to stay within your industry. Energy is VERY strong these days, especially if you have some cleantech experience.
From what you have told me and very roughly, Wharton, LBS and INSEAD are stretches for you, The remaining schools should be competitive, although you have no "Safety schools" on your list. Besides showing any relevant leadership experience, it will be very important for you (Especially with the continental European schools) to give the schools some hint of your international capacities, even though you have not worked internationally.
As for the IOMBA, I did some research for placement statistics and didn't find anything reliable. It's possible that the school doesn't release them. Wisest would be to get in contact with 3,4 alumni and chat with them.
