Jon,

Really appreciate your reply.

I understand your point regarding my relatively inferior undergraduate academics. Is there a way to make up for it? Don't you think improving upon my GMAT would help level things up a bit?

As you suggested, I want to use the next few months to boost my profile. Can you suggest some things that I could possibly do?

And finally, how would you rate my profile with respect to people who have gotten through the schools I'm targetting (Tuck/Stern/Darden/Ross/Anderson/Duke)?

Thanks!

Hey there dude,

You got it. I am happy to help.

So first of all regarding your school/grades - although if your grades are bad, yes a high GMAT helps offset that, but your grades aren't bad, they are pretty good. They are just not amazing, and not at the top school, so other than building yourself a time machine, you have ALREADY done all that you can do in this respect by getting your excellent GMAT!

To boost your profile what you need is either one or two things 1. More leadership 2. Something to make your profile UNIQUE - this could be ANYTHING - you ran a fundraiser which collected 20,000 for a charity, or got promoted twice in one year, or founded your own firm, or did amazing project X, whatever you see the possibility to do in this time.

Finally, for your profile your list is a bit ambitious, but only a bit. If you add one or two more schools that are just a bit safer, then your list should be complete.

Best,
