Hi Jon,

Since I have done my Bachelor of technology, I do know that if I stay in IT or on the technical side, I do want to get into tech consulting, so thats how I have MIS on my mind. But a MBA is something I've always planned on doing so I guess, I will apply for both the courses. Just wanted to know what are my chances like in both the courses.

My bent of mind is towards MBA, though :)

Makes sense. Well then, good luck!
And if you have anything else, just drop a line,
Best,

Hi jon,

I was shortlisting schools for MBA.
Can you suggest what are my chances like in the schools mentioned below:

1. Ross (Michigan)
2. NYU Stern
3. Duke (Fuqua)
4. Kelley School of Business
5. UT Austin (McCombs)
6. Texas A&M (Mays)
7. Emory Goizueta
8. St Louis Olin

Also, if you could suggest some good schools based on ur experience for me, it'll be really helpful.

Thanks.

Hey there,
So I think your school list is pretty good, albeit a bit skewed towards the tough side. The first four schools will be challenges. The second four should be relatively competitive. Buuuut you don't have any "Safe schools". Now that may be totally okay too, but it means that overall you will have tougher chances to getting in. You may want to add one or two schools that are a bit lower ranked (but not tooooo much either), and then your list should be totally balanced.
