Hi,
I would appreciate a quick profile evaluation as I am considering applying for a FT MBA matriculating in fall 2015. Ideally I want to apply for round 2. Expert advice from someone would be quite helpful. The following are my details:
Age: 25 (at matriculation)
Nationality: Canadian
Gender Male
GMAT: 760 (Q50, V44, IR 8, AWA 5.0)
Work Experience: Will have 3 years of full time experience by matriculation. I work as a manager in an event production role. I manage 2 staff throughout the year and 45+ during event time.
Education:
Undergrad: Double major in Chemistry and Biology from a well known North American University with a 3.4 GPA.
Other Courses: Have taken a macroeconomics and finance course during the past year from a local university and received an A+ in both courses
Extra Curricular: Not many.
References: My past two supervisors will write excellent letters of reference
I am considering applying to Harvard and Chicago, do I have a chance at either of those schools?
Well, you DO have a 760
. And your grades are good. And people will like you because you are a science dude.
But to be honest, I don't have enough detail about you, your work, your volunteer work, your school, etc. to evaluate whether that's good enough for HBS.
I'd suggest you drop us a line and send your CV for a full evaluation:
Otherwise... better hurry up! The time crunch is on!
Best,
JF
