Hi there!
I believe my profile is good enough for Stanford MSx and MIT SF, but I am not sure about 2-year programs, mainly because of 12+ years of work experience and age. Could you please evaluate my profile for HBS, GSB and Haas?
I am a 30-year old (turning 31 in May) Asian male (with Russian passport), currently working as a Vice Rector (in the US you call it Vice Chancellor or Vice President) in the major Russian university. Previously worked as a CIO at the large regional power utility company. A board member in the leading local techno park and venture fund. A lot of ECA and other accomplishments. Also, created a top selling survival video game (available on Steam).
Education: Specialist's degree (5-year full time) in Computer Science from the average Russian university. GPA: 3.74 out of 4.0. Officially enrolled at the age of 13, being the youngest student in the university records, and probably, one of the youngest students in Russian history. Was appointed as a professor there at the age of 18.
GMAT: expected to be somewhere between 700 and 720.
IELTS: 8.0.
Thanks!
Hey there good sir!
so first of all, you have a very interesting and very unique profile.
We have worked with quite a few Russian candidates, and for some reason you guys do exceptionally well we have found.
And your position as a vice rector is bound to be very unique. The only question is what will it lead you do? And how will you use that in your MBA?
Other than that I would really need a lot more info about you to dig deep into your profile, but things do look promising.
Maybe elaborate a little bit about your goals.
As for what programs - your age is totally fine for full-time MBA programs, so don't give it two thoughts.
If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to write.
Best,
JF
