I am a typical Indian IT Male with following profile. Request for evaluation:
Education:
1. ICSE [10th] - 88%
2. ISC [12th] - 80%
3. B.Tech [CSE] - Private Engg College in India - 8.24/10 [GPA 3.3]
4. Executive Program for Young Professionals [EPYP] - IIM Calcutta - 1 year Online course - Grade Good
Work Experience:
1. Overall experience of 10 years, worked as Test Lead for 5+ years
2. Managed teams of upto 30+ members, including delivering and managing testing engagements for MNC clients
3. Onsite position for a year
4. Worked as Sales Analyst reporting to CEO, individually responsible for multiple geographies and improvising sales reports/analysis for better funnel optimization.

Hi - and thanks for writing! Sounds like you have strong academics, work experience, and extracurricular involvement. To answer your questions below:
1. Please suggest on overall profile fitment and best matching schools - For the schools you're aiming for, 10 years of work experience is definitely on the higher end - typical admits have about 4-7 years of work experience, so this could pose a challenge. Regarding fit, aside from career track (since all of these schools recruit for consulting) some top things to consider are: cultural fit, geographt (where you want to be working after graduation) and teaching style.
2. GMAT Score range [if possible] Since you're part of a competitive applicant pool, I'd aim for 730+
3. Any relevant advice: Since your work exp. is on the upper end, you'll need to make a strong case for why NOW is the right time for your MBA. Also, keep in mind that your fit with the school is very important, so start the research/school visitation process as soon as you can. Also, in your application, talk about what drives you - not just that you want to switch to consulting, but WHY? What experiences have you had that have led you to feel that this is the best path for you?
