I had quit to move on to a more challenging role. I moved back to the UAE but have been unfortunate in job search. So, I have been learning music and language (french) to better myself. I also do teach french and keyboard for a few neighborhood kids. I have also volunteered for a short time at a school for children with special needs. I am not sure if these will help my application in any way.
I understand my profile is not really great because of my really low GMAT score ( I have probably reached threshold) and the really long gap.
I would like to know the range of schools that I can target. For now, I have Rotman, Queen's, Ross, Schulich, Tepper and Fuqua.
Thanks a ton!!
Kaviya
Dear Kaviya,
I'm afraid I don't have great news for you. Being unemployed, with only 10 months work experience and with such a low GMAT, Top 50 MBA programs are likely all out of range for you and certainly the ones you have mentioned.
I would suggest either persevering in your job search or if that is not an option considering a Masters that does not require experience (Finance, Accounting, Economics) that also interests you. You can always do an MBA later on, once you have gained enough experience.
Best,
Jon
