7.5 years of work experience is on the higher end for a full-time program so in any event, you will need to make a strong case for why NOW is the right time for an MBA.

Academic profile:
Class X: 90.3% (ICSE/Year- 2003)
Class XII: 89.8% (ISC/Year 2005)
B. Tech: 8.19 CGPA from CET, Bhubaneswar (Mechanical Engineering/Year 2009)
Work Experience:
• 7.5 years in an Oil and Gas engineering company (Public sector undertaking).
• I’m presently working in the Equipment division and involved in the design, engineering and procurement of equipment and mechanical packages for Refinery & Petrochemical complexes, LNG
Re-gasification terminals etc.
• My current work involves frequent interaction with Clients from End-user companies, equipment suppliers and EPC Contractors.
• I have been also involved in international Oil and Gas Projects in Indonesia, Nigeria, Bangladesh, some of which are still under execution phase.

• Active Trader in Equity, Equity derivatives and Commodities
GMAT: Haven’t appeared yet. However, I’m targeting a score of 700+. Planning to give my GMAT in October.
