Hi there,
I am a 30-year-old white male who has worked in consulting for 6 years (7 at matriculation) at a Big 4 firm, looking to apply in Round 2. I worked with several high-profile Federal clients, mainly on strategy engagements. My college GPA was 3.70 at a top-75 private university and my current GRE score is 326 (166 Verbal, 160 Quant) - I've been trying to retake it but haven't been able to move the needle much. With these stats / experience, could you give me an idea of which schools I should be targeting? I'm aiming for no lower than top 15 or so, to make the investment worthwhile.
Thanks!
Hey there,
Well I would love to have more detail about your profile, esp. our work experience. What have you done? What have been your achievements? Do you have any leadership?
Your GPA is great and your sector seems fascinating, yet if you are aiming for Top15 only, I think currently your main obstacle is likely to be your test score. So given that, plus given the time of the year, I would probably simply advise you to retake and plan for a full-on attack next year.
What do you think?
