My advice would be to look at schools in the 30-50 rank range (based on US news & world report), with possibly some schools in the mid-20s if you want to include some reach schools. Unfortunately as an Indian male engineer you are coming from the toughest demographic in terms of b-school applications, and it's also one that tends to have very high GMATs. A 720 is a solid score but not one that will differentiate you unfortunately.

Your GPA is a bit on the low end & your years of work experience are a bit on the high-end so those are both challenges you'll need to overcome (and there are definitely ways to overcome them!). The low GPA will mean more weight is placed on other parts of your application (work experience, LORs, etc). When you are above the average in terms of years of work experience schools get nervous that you no longer need the degree, so it will be critical to make a strong why MBA/why our school argument. Specifically, you'll want to name strong, clear post-MBA goals (what title & want & 2-3 target firms), explain WHY that is your passion & the impact you hope to have, and then name the skill gaps you need to fill via the MBA to get there.

Your target schools will also be determined by your goals - you'll want to look for schools that specialize in the area that you plan to work in, have recruiters you want to work for, etc. But generally speaking I'd say look in that 30-50 range.

Good luck to you!
