It would be helpful if someone could help me evaluate my profile and assist me with their inputs.
Nationality - Indian
Gender - Male
Education -
1. Bachelors in Technology ( Civil Engineering ) with a CGPA of 8.4 / 10 from Mumbai University
2. Post graduate certification in Finance (PGCFA) from Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies.
Work Experience -
Tenure : 2.5 years (as on October 2019)
Industry : Consulting
Domain : Financial Risk Consulting
Organisation : CRISIL Ltd. (A S&P Company) (June 2017 - April 2019)
Organisation : KPMG India (May 2019 - Present)
Volunteering Experience:
1. Assisted 50 underprivileged school students in securing scholarships so as to fund their education.
(This activity was carried out at an individual level w/o associating with an NGO)
2. Helped a NGO in raising INR 1.5 million and devising a strategy for efficient utility of the funds raised. The funds raised were deployed in order to assist farmers in rural India by conducting seminars on agricultural literacy and help them explore new avenues of steady cash flows.
Awards:
1. Organisation wide individual award for Execution Excellence in CRISIL.
Academic Excellence:
1. Among top 3 performers in PGCFA.
2. Among top 10% students in Civil Engineering Class of 2016.
3. Among top 1% students in State-wide Engineering Entrance Examination.
4. Among top 1% students in 12th Standard examinations.
I've not yet attempted GMAT. However I've been consistently scoring 700 in GMATprep mocks. So I'm expecting a similar score.

HI there! Thanks for reaching out. I think you've got a good list. A 700 would be a little bit on the low end given your demographic (which tends to score 20-30 points above a school's average) but you've got a great name on your resume with KPMG & your extracurriculars are strong as well. If there's any chance of landing a 720+ that would be ideal. If not there are definitely strategies to overcome the slightly low GMAT -- these applications are an art form after all. A lot will depend on the specifics of your work accomplishments as well as your post-MBA goals. The adcom wants to see applicants who have driven meaningful (and ideally quantifiable) accomplishments at work and who have demonstrated leadership experience. They also want to see that you have a strong, specific plan for what you aspire to do post-MBA -- after all, that's the foundation for your why MBA/why our school argument. Assuming each of these pieces is rock solid I think you have a shot at overcoming a GMAT that's slightly on the low end for these schools & for your demographic.
