Nationality - Indian
Gender - Male
Education -
1. Bachelors in Technology (Production & Industrial Engineering) from Non-IIT/NIT college. CGPA: 8.6/10
2. MBA from one of the top 3 IIMs (Indian Institute of Management)
Looking to do second MBA to switch geography within same function (IB/ PE)
Work Experience - 2.5 yrs automotive company; 30 months IB; 12 months mid-market Private Equity fund (currently with the same firm)
Other info: Cleared CFA Level I and II; Secured CFA Access Scholarship; Represented college in national level automotive events; Decent level of extra curriculars and volunteering experience
GMAT: 720
Which schools should work best for my goals? I am open to both 1 year and 2 year programs.

Hi there,
It sounds like your work experience and CFA qualifications, and solid academics will help position you for consideration... that said getting a 2nd MBA CAN be tough... you have to convince admissions that you need and should get a second MBA over someone who does not yet have one... so it can be particularly challenging. It is tough to propose particular schools based simply on the info here, but you can look up the best schools for IB and PE by region of course, and ideally for best chances aim for some where you are above their average GMAT and the acceptance rate is not too extremely difficult... you haven't mentioned the geographic change you are seeking so certainly that may play a role in the location that is ideal for you to study. Consider what programs seem a good fit for you too-- i.e. look at employment reports, consider class size and location and setting, curriculum, specialties etc. Good luck!
