Role: Lead Electrical Engineer/Project Manager, Licensed Professional Engineer
GMAT: 690 (Q47, V38), 700 (Q45, V40)
Targeting: USC FT and UCLA FEMBA
Reason: Pivot into entertainment industry or tech/finance
Already applied for R3... really want to do FT but not sure how things are looking with global health crisis.
What are my chances? Any possibility for a scholarship? Would be a dream come true. Haven't had any interview invites yet though.
I think it’s important to know what your ethnicity and gender are. If you’re a female engineer, your stats could get you into Top 10 with the right story/execution.
With those stats, I think you could aim for a few more schools that’ll place you into tech, such as McCombs, Tepper, Johnson. But you’ll also need a really strong story with high impact/vision/passion in your future goals and differentiation from your peer set.
Also, you may want to apply Round 1 for next year, since it’ll be easier than Round 3/4 of this year.
