Age 29, Male, Indian
Target year: Fall 2022
Undergrad in India:
Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Chemical Engineering (CGPA: 7.96/10)
Graduation Institute: BITS Pilani K.K birla Goa Campus
GMAT: 710 (Q50 V36 IR 6) - Jan2021
( Note: I am planning to retake GMAT in July 2021 and hope to get 730+ score)
Work experience and leadership:
Current Experience (Till June, 2021)- 5.5 years of experience.
Organizations worked for:
JP Morgan Chase (intern), Ecolab (a US MNC), Chambal fertilizers and chemicals limited ( a K.K. Birla group company)
Sectors worked for: Asset Management, Chemicals, Technical Consulting and Agribusiness
Work profile: Core Non-IT engineer, technical Consulting, process improvement, project and operations management
Extra curriculars:
Voluntary Work: Part of Nirmaan Goa (2011-2013) an NGO, Blood Donor in various donation drives, Volunteer Teacher at
DCGA (a local school cum preparation center) as part of their outreach towards children with financial difficulties, Volunteer

Thank you for sharing your profile. Your profile looks good on the surface. Starting with stats, your undergrad GPA is quite good. If you score 730+, it will maximize your chances. On the work front, you have big names in your CV. You will need to speak about your role and responsibilities, as well as the impact you have had on the organization. When creating your apps, you will need to demonstrate leadership abilities. Choose the most crucial one when listing your work or commitments. Elaborate on your previous experiences, explaining how working on various projects has helped strengthen your leadership abilities and how you have handled instances when things have gone wrong.
Talking about your ECs, you can speak about your volunteer experience. I would advise you to include any hobbies or interests you have (if any) that would help you to showcase different aspects of your personality. Your post-MBA goal makes sense. However, try to be more specific. Adcoms are interested in how you think about the future, what issues you've uncovered with current processes, and how you plan to address them for long-term progress. So, select your short-term and long-term goals wisely because it is a significant component in narrowing down the schools.
Overall you have a good profile, and if you score 730+ GMAT, you had a shot at your target schools. INSEAD could be the best pick for consulting. What’s going to matter most in your application is how you connect all the dots and build a great narrative.
