Nationality : USA
Gender: Asian Male
Gmat Score : 710(V35,Q50)
Work experience : Validation engineer at NXP (1.5 years), Validation engineer at Qualcomm (just over 1 year), Hardware Applications engineer (almost 2 years)
Education: 3.03 GPA in electrical engineering at a top 10 engineering undergraduate school, 3.73 GPA in electrical engineering for master's degree
Extra curriculars: martial arts (placed in competitions), not much time for anything else since I have been working on my master's part time while keeping my full time job. Just received master's degree in May 2021.
Target schools: UCLA, USC, UC Berkeley, NYU
Another follow up question, do schools take into account how "difficult" it is to get grades at specific schools. For example, my undergraduate institution is famous for grade deflation (e.g. most classes round to a C whereas other schools my friends went to rounded their classes to a B which creates a huge discrepancy between our grades even if we technically performed the same).

Yes, these schools do take the relative difficulty (or curve) of your GPA. This would obviously work in your favor having gone to a top engineering school. As far as how much weight they give to your GPA, that's more of a subjective call. They still report overall GPA numbers and you can clearly see their class mean/median.
You will have a shot at UCLA and USC, but I am less confident about UC Berkeley and NYU Stern. Those two school are less forgiving when it comes to their criteria. Your overall GMAT score is solid but your Verbal is way below the average. I'm not sure what type of timeline you're on right now but a V35 coupled with your GPA could make things difficult. Would you consider retaking the exam? If not, you should still go for these schools but just bear in mind the hurdles you are facing.
