Notable achievements in highschool - 92% in 10th grade state board exams. 99th percentile in KCET test, which qualified me for medical school.
Undergrad: Top 15 medical school in India. Grades- 55% In medicine. Percentage is a poor indicator for medical degrees as only 5 or 6 in a class of 150 get distinction( above 75% marks). I'd say I stand in the 40th percentile in my class.
Work Experience: 1 year internship rotation in medical college hospital. 3 months each in the Emergency and neurology departments as a junior doctor in a tertiary care hospital. 2.5 yrs as a junior doctor in a digital health start-up. 6 months(part-time) sales and marketing intern at a VR start-up. Freelance crypto investing / trading since September 2020 till present.
Extra Curricular: Represented university in all India inter-medical university basketball tournament. Raised money for school supplies for children in orphanage as part of an NGO. Taught myself technical and fundamental analysis of cryptocurrencies to be able to live off it as a freelance trader for over a year.

Reason for pivot from medicine - By 2nd year in med school I knew medicine wasn't for me. I'm looking for global impact, to think in terms of big picture and more analytically.
