Demographics - indian male 26Y
Education -
B tech computer science tier 1 college india
cgpa - 7.45/10 or 3.17/4
GMAT - 700 (q50,v 35) -- taken in 2019
Work experience - working as a senior software engineer in a big cloud saas US company - as of now 5 years
scrum lead for the team for the last 2 years
2 promotions in 5 years
led a product from idea to productisation involving multiple stakeholders convincing business heads and engineering heads on value add as well as on using latest technology.
product which solved a long time customer need across the company
laid the strategy and vision for the product down the line for multiple releases and go to market strategies
this ultimately led to my most recent promotion
lead the innovation team how to use latest technology to solve customer problems
Extracurriculars -
in college -
part of non profit organisation - providing books and teaching orphans
head of media relations for an event organised for the non-profit
dramatics club
part sponsorship club to get sponsors for college tech and cultural events
post college -
volunteered to help during second wave of covid to help people find beds and medicines - effort led by the alumni of my college
part of local Toastmasters division
ran multiple marathons - not sure if this helps
post mba goals
short term goals - product management in the cloud saas space.
long term goals - working towards using cloud saas to help solve problems not only for businesses but for normal people as well
target schools -
foster and tepper
any other schools which suit my profile ?
Other information relevant to my profile:
my early childhood i was raised in botswana africa(till 2007 then came back to india) helped getting exposure to different cultures at an early age - not sure if this is even relevant
wanted to know what colleges are in my reach ?
my gmat score is from 2019 so do i need to retake again ?
looking to apply for september 2023 intake so my work ex will increase another year and will also have time to work on any gaps in Extracurriculars
