26 year-old female; Indian citizen; Architect
Education
B.Arch (5-years course) from an Institute of National Importance (same as IITs for engineering); dean's list student
participated in 8 national and international competitions (shortlisted in top 5 from more than 300 design entries worldwide)
GMAT:
750 (Q 50, V 42, IR 3, AWA 4.5)
WE:
2.5 Years till May'22
About 11 months as an architect (6 months of international work experience included)
1.5 Years as Communications Designer at one of the largest design practices in India. Experience in communications and outreach (digital and print), exhibition design, client and media management, all forms of visual outputs for large-scale urban projects.
I'm planning to transition to a corporate communications and marketing role before the MBA programme.
Other Activities
Work related- Social architecture and sustainable urbanism ( involved in design and building of an elderly commune, organised heritage walks for students and travel enthusiasts, led Free-Streets Movement, held leadership position in university's Rotaract Club, volunteered for hands-on sustainable construction in various parts of the country, also part of local stray-feeder group)
Arts- Sketching and painting (organised Inktober- annual drawing competition in the current company)
Post-MBA Goals:
Short-term goal: I'd like to advance into marketing roles for consulting industry (that way I'd gain experience in marketing for different sectors). I can leverage my experience in client management and business development.
I still need to do some more research for my long-term goal but I want to specialize and lead in digital marketing and brand management.
Additionally I'm building skills through online courses in digital marketing, UX design, and sustainability. I would be grateful if you could let me know my chances of getting into the top-15 B-Schools. I haven't started a thorough research in MBA programmes yet but if you have any particular school recommendations (irrespective of the ranking) that would like my profile, please let me know.

How is your undergrad GPA? You are on Dean's List, so I would assume strong, but let us know as that is fairly important.
With your GPA, the Top 15 US schools are definitely within reach. I'm not sure about your chances for the top 3 HSW (they are reaches for practically everyone) but if you like those programs, it's worth discussing how to optimize your odds.
Within the Top 15, MIT Sloan, Northwestern Kellogg, Duke Fuqua, Columbia Business School, and Michigan Ross are all really good fits for marketing and consulting.
