Hi
Sarthak14Dave,
This is Kate from
mbaMission. I understand you're looking at deferred MBA programs in which case you can apply when you are still completing your Bachelor's. The deferred programs at the M7 schools are highly selective though, so it's good you're thinking ahead about how you could improve your profile. Academics is definitely high on the list, so aim to keep your GPA high and a very strong GMAT showing. For most applicants from India, 720 is pretty tough for deferred M7 programs, I'd really like you to be at 740 at least or ideally 750.
Your Key Achievements are great. A nice mix of leadership, impact, and research. You shouldn't need to add anything, just keep up some of that involvement and try to show even more impact within those activities. The PE internship is great too. Do you have a return offer? Most successful deferred admits have a full-time role lined up when they apply, so they can use the application to speak to how they'll take the 2-4 years before starting their MBA to progress their career (and take some chances too).
In terms of schools, Harvard, Stanford, and Wharton are the most selective. You could pick one of those as a reach, but then I'd focus your efforts more on schools like Booth, Columbia, Kellogg, MIT, Yale, Darden.
For sure check out our free guide to deferred programs:
