Got it. Yes, if you're going to frame that up as part of your future career goals, you should definitely show past interest in the industry. I like what you say about attending conferences! Add that to your resume. And think about how you can work in this interest to your essay themes too.

Hi Kate,

Thanks for the response. The reason for the interest in aerospace is that I'd really like to work in the astronautical industry in the future. Definitely more in a business role, but even that may require technical knowledge from what I have seen in terms of job requirements. I've even attended space-related conferences on my own free time, so maybe I can use that as a hobby or interest that you describe?
