I am planning to apply to INSEAD for Round 2 this November, and would like some help in evaluating my profile.
Indian Male, 30 yrs
Acads:
GMAT - 680, Q-47, V-37
Master GPA - 3.5 , University of Wisconsin-Madison
Undergrad - 7.01/10.0 , NIT Allahabad
Work ex:
ZS Associates (Consulting) - 1 yr (2009-2010)
break of one -year , some traveling and Non-profit work before moving to US for Masters.
Amazon - (Business Analyst/Product Manager) - 2.5 yr (post Masters , 2012 Dec)
Microsoft - (Analytics Program Manager) - 1.5 yr
Leadership-
Cofounded a startup ,based in Seattle, USA. We have 500+user
Post MBA goals-
Work in Tech giant as a Product Manager, preferably Google or Facebook.
I know my acads are not very strong and being an Indian male doesn't help, but my question is should I take a chance and apply to INSEAD round 2 or wait and retake GMAT?
Hey dude,
Well I would love to get more detail about you (and especially about your work experience) as it would help me understand where you stand.
My initial thought though is just go ahead with your application. Your GMAT is a bit low, but INSEAD is relatively flexible with GMAT, as long as the rest of your profile is strong.
Other than that, I am hoping that you are not applying to ONLY INSEAD.
