Hi,

I am a recent graduate from Turkey and I am planning to apply to some reputable MIM programs. I would be happy if you could evaluate my profile and share with me your opinions about my chances at HEC, Bocconi and such. I also want to know whether there is anyway to get in a top UK MIM program with a 3.1 GPA.

22 years old.
Professional: Just graduated. Internship experience in 4 Fortune 500 companies (Equity Derivatives Trading at Deutsche Bank, Marketing at 3M, Production planning at Daimler etc.) a tech startup and a corporate venture capital fund (all in Turkey). Longest internship duration is 4 months.
Leadership: Presidency at university economics club.
Academic Record: Bachelors from top business school in Turkey (CEMS Partner). Double major in Business Administration and Industrial Engineering, GPA 3.1 , low math and accounting grades, except acct most business courses are A.
Exchange semester at top school in Germany.
B-2 Certificate in german language.
GMAT : 730 (96%, Q:50, V:38 AWA:5 IR:4)
IELTS: 8/9
Uniqueness: Diverse internship and teamwork experience.
Career goals: Management Consultancy or Venture Capital

Thanks in advance.

Hey dude,
Good to hear from you!
With three solid internships, three languages spoken, and a fantastic GMAT you should have a good profile for almost any MiM.

You STILL do have to get your story down, especially your goals. And you DO have a strong weakness with that GPA, so you have to make sure you cover your bases by applying to a good pool of programs.

But do that, and present them a fantastic and passionate story, and you should do well.
Best,
Jon Frank
