Hi Team,

Can you please evaluate my profile for ISB or any other US B-school?

Indian IT Female, 26 years, 5+ yrs of work experience
GMAT Score : 670 (Quant - 49, Verbal - 32) [still waiting for the AWA score]

>>National level scholarship holder in School level and College level GPA 4
>>Have done social services which includes teaching, anti-ragging campaign.
>>Started my working career with IBM India as software developer and then got promoted to senior lead position. Have been into Australia and Thailand for IT Consultant role.
>>Currently working with IBM Indonesia as Onsite Regional Service manager who basically does coordination between IBM India and Client leadership team in Indonesia, Jakarta.
>> Awards and Recognition : Have been awarded multiple times by IBM as recognition of my work.

**CCA : Diploma certificate holder in Modern Painting, certifications in Photography

** Languages : English, German, French

**Technical Certifications
**Domain Certifications

Goals:
To work as a product manager/or a part of senior management for a Tech company or FinTech, post MBA.

Appreciate your valuable feedback!!

Shall I consider retaking GMAT? Plz advise.

Hi Sushmita,

Thanks for your post.
You have nothing to lose by retaking the GMAT - and I suggest taking it 3-4 times total - as schools will only look at your highest score. Hopefully you can significantly boost your Verbal as your Quant score will not hold you back.
The average score at ISB is around 710, and the top US schools exceed 700 as well, so you would definitely increase your chances of acceptance by going over a 700.

Schools will certainly look at your work experience and extracurriculars as well. Hopefully you have made an impact at work and shown leadership capabilities. And similarly for your activities outside of work, it will help to show you have made an impact as well by being a leader.
Lastly, because of your current Verbal score, demonstrate in your application that you have this aptitude and continue to improve upon it.
