That's fair. Give the GMAT one more shot. You are in a good position that you have at least a 690. You only stand to gain.

The O&G consulting is not really a "weakness" but you will need to summarize your career to date - a necessity in the admissions process. You won't be penalized for making a career change, but you will have to have a more convincing story than "I couldn't get into FAANG and then I did." You are totally in fine shape, but all I am saying is that you have to be more "creative" in how you explain it. There's a certain "art" to these essays.
