I would like to request a profile review. I haven’t considered when to apply but I believe according to my age it should be within the next 1-2 years.
- Demographics: spanish, male, will be 32 in 2022 (born 1990)
- Education:
- Work experience: (from recent to older). Sums up to 6+ years of working experience.
- Any specific questions you would like answered by our team:
Given this profile, do you consider I have chances of being admitted to INSEAD? What would you start with? Do you believe I could reach the 2022 course?

Business Administration - Bachelor degree in the University of Barcelona (Spain)
- Work experience: (from recent to older). Sums up to 6+ years of working experience.
- 2 years as a Risk Underwriter (Analyst) in a public corporation (home country)
1 year as an International Trade Consultant (Nairobi, Kenya). Traveled for work around different countries in the East African region.
3 years in the tourism sector:
7 months as an Accountant and Finance Controller in a 5* Hotel. (home country)
2 years as a Reservations and Revenue Manager (Sales & Finance) in a Hotel chain. (home country)
- Worked during 3 months in the Dominican Republic
Lived during 7 months in Brighton (United Kingdom)
Have run several half marathons around the globe.

- I don’t have either TOEFL or GMAT yet. Is it still doable for next term?

Hi, Joan, you have an interesting profile but I want to confirm - you are saying you already have an MBA? From where and when? Have you confirmed that these 2 programs will consider you if you already have an MBA? I have heard of INSEAD considering it, but I am not sure about IESE. Right now, that to me is the first thing to discover, because otherwise everything is a moot question!
Beyond that, you certainly have accumulated a range of experience, though the path might be tricky to understand so make sure to explain your transitions, and why now a second MBA is in your plans, in the application. This purpose and intent is key. Without a GMAT, it's hard to predict your chances, but I think you possess many key requirements like work experience and international focus. I believe the latest deadline for Aug 22 entry is in February, though I'd encourage you to apply in an earlier round, if possible (assuming they are open to your 2nd MBA candidacy), which means you need your test soon!
