Hi,
Kindly help me by evaluating my profile.
Age 24yo, Male, Indian
1) Will be giving GMAT in a couple of days. Expecting a GMAT Score around 720.
2) Work Experience: ( Total 3.5 years of exp in IT)
- 2+ years at a CMMI level 5 company as a Software quality Engineer
- 3 months at a startup as SQE ( Although my position was not of a lead there, but apart from the projects assigned to me, I was assigned a group of 3 freshers whom
I had to train and guide on the new technologies existing in the market. I was evaluated based on their learning)
- Currently working with a CMMI level3 company.
3) Graduated from a Top 30 college with 64% ( B.Tech IT )
4) Not much in the field of extra curricular activities ( At college level won 1st and 2nd prize in different robotics competitions )
5) Entrepreneurial Experience- Started a business 5 years ago with a friend, while in 2nd year at college and running it successfully( Counselling of students for Engineering colleges ). My role is to look after Marketing, advertisements, brand image and resource management.
(Will my Entrepreneurial Experience count? )
I am targeting b-schools in US. Please let me know what range of schools should I target.

Hi there - first off, good luck on your GMAT! I hope you reach your target score. Not to add any pressure 
, but I think a high GMAT (720+) will be important, especially since you're applying from a very competitive pool and your undergraduate grades are not stellar.
Not having extracurriculars is going to be a concern too, so highlight activities from undergrad where you had significant leadership experience and also any unique/interesting passions or hobbies outside of work now. Sometimes these can help to demonstrate you're a passionate & driven person.
Your work experience seems like a strength - that's great you've had some mentorship / team lead responsibilites, even if informal. Your startup experience could also be a big differentiator and yes it will definitely count so you should highlight that on your resume.
You don't mention anything about your post-MBA career goals...so without knowing that, and your final GMAT score, it's difficult to advise on specific schools. But given some of the concerns above and the competitiveness of your demographic, I think top 10 in the US is going to be really tough. I'd look to apply to a range of programs in the 10-40 range that fit with your goals, values, and preferences. There are lots of great programs in that range!
