Little lost in app process ,Kindly evaluate my profile, areas where I lack shine and what are the prospects if i've to make it to top 20 B-schools with my current profile. very ambitious to moderate?

B.Tech :Mechanical Engineering. GPA:3.5
12th:70%
10th:88%
WE: Manufacturing / Manager/ 4Yrs
Daimler AG
Process planner, New vehicle launch management.
Supporting Complete Knock down assembly globally.
International exposure :working for Japan, Iran , Kenya assembly plants.
Achievements/Extra curricular activities:
>Awarded Achiever of the month for design contribution
>Participating in throw ball tournaments organized by C.R.Y to raise fund for Children's education .
>Leading Training club for personal development.
>Teaching arts & music for mentally challenged children at orphanage.
Yet to give GMAT .However, Mocks range from 650 to 680.

Hello there,
So let me get right down to it: Overall your profile is good - you are female, work for a big firm, have decent ECs and good international experience.
OVerall Top 10 will be tough as I don't see the high profile school (IIT) or job that normally lands Top 10 programs. Top 20 could work, as your profile is very good, but you need the GMAT - as an Indian likely a 720 or above. Sooooo, conclusion: At this point, you have what you have and until application time, the single most important factor for you to influence is that pesky GMAT! So make sure you get the highest score possible on that test. Because it can change everything.
