Thanks for taking the time to help me out.
I am currently a rising senior at an unknown school in the US. I'm looking at schools abroad because I spent a semester abroad studying in the U.K. and loved my time there. My goal is to work in MBB consulting, and my understanding is that since I am coming from an unknown school, obtaining a masters from a big name is one of the only ways that I can get there. Is my profile competitive enough?
Major, GPA: Economics and Finance, 3.5
GMAT: 740 Q49, V43
Internships: Summer Finance intern at USDA, Finance/Accounting intern at local bank for a semester
EC's: (This is where I spend most of my time) president of school's activity council - manage 6 figure budget and planning events, voted in by student body; student government exec roles as director of campus improvements and VP of programming; fraternity member (volunteering/fundraising experience)
I know my internships are weak which is also part of the problem, but I'm sure I can spin them a bit. I suppose I have time to retake the GMAT but I'm not sure if that would be worth it. Said's MFE gmat average is 733, and LBS gmat is ~690, but maybe it could make up for my low GPA if I improved the score?
Also if anyone could speak to how difficult it would be for a US citizen to get an MBB role anywhere after the programs I would greatly appreciate it.

I think you have fair chances to get admission to your targeted schools. Overall you have a quite decent profile.
Your extracurriculars in EC’s seem promising. You can highlight your leadership skills and team skills by explaining the role you played while handling various tasks of and while organizing the different events you were involved in.
Your work experience is not a lot, this will not be a hindrance to your application as for MFE and MiM programs are targeted at students with 0-2 years of work experience looking to enter the field of management and finance and other applicants do not have a lot of work experience too. So don’t worry about it. Though you can talk about the work you did during your internship. Aim to highlights projects and make sure you include the skills you developed during that time.
Another good thing about your profile is the GMAT score you have mentioned. It will definitely help you overcome the effects of your low GPA and keep your profile competitive.
Schools such as LBS, Said, are quite competitive make sure to ace every part of the application (essays, GMAT, LOR, resume) to get noticed and aiming for aim for R1 will provide you a time advantage.
As for the MBB, your US citizenship will not have much effect on it, for getting a job in one of the MBB firms the planning your higher education, choosing a school is of paramount importance besides deciding on the degree you want to pursue.
From the above-mentioned schools, LBS is can be your gateway for MBB. It is the most recognizable names when it comes to business schools, most of its fame is due to the Management program and can open up a number of doors for you and definitely will help you out achieve your Dream job.
Talking about the SAID, the MFE program is more oriented toward the financial field and students mainly land into jobs such as Financial Analysts, Personal Financial Advisors, Financial Manager and so on. So is you are aiming for consultant jobs then LBS would be a better option for you.
Apart from LBS if you don’t have a country preference as such, then Schools such as IVEY and Schulich School of business in Canada, can be your other options as well.
