Hi
vr18039,
I would like to learn more about your background, so we can help you differentiate, especially since you are only applying to one school.
From the information you've provided, the Haas EWMBA may present a few challenges in securing admission, namely age, GPA, GMAT, and years of work experience. While the GPA range of admitted students is between 3.0 - 3.8, their median is 3.4. I understand that you cannot change your GPA, but what you can do is increase your GMAT score to counterbalance your GPA. I recommend you increase your GMAT score by 10+ overall point. Your years of work experience will also be a hurdle, as the class range is between 5-11 years.
While it is possible to gain admission in the 2019-2020 application season, you will want to demonstrate the depth of your professional and leadership experiences, your academic aptitude, and present a personal profile that exemplifies maturity and embodies the spirit of innovation.
I am happy to speak further about your background. When you are ready, please
reach out.
Good luck!

Hi everyone, thanks for taking the time to read my profile. Only looking to apply to the Haas EWMBA because I work in San Francisco, and can't move anywhere else. Looking for honest advice on how I should position myself as an applicant and where I can improve to stand out the most. Since I'm only applying to Berkeley, want to make sure I do everything in my power to get admitted there.
