Hi,
I am an Indian female currently working at Mastercard with 23 months of work experience as an analyst. I've scored a 770 on my GMAT (Q51 V42, IR 7). I have a CGPA of 9 (Undergraduate in Engineering from IIT Roorkee). My score in X and XII is %90+.
The problem is beyond my academics, my profile is really boring. I don't really have a legit volunteering experience- apart from some on-off activities during college. I have some extracurriculars to show during my education and work experience (Head of Literary Clubs, part of organising committee for certain activities at my work place). All in all- it's pretty meh. I'm a hardcore introvert- so while I have no problem talking and getting along with people during the workday, participating in activities during the weekend (which is supposed to be sacred me-time
) has been exhausting, which is why I have never really put in the effort so far. However, I realise that it may actually end up hurting my chances, and I am really desperate to remediate that.
I really need advice on what I can do to help boost my chances for admission into a good MBA school (and any chances for a scholarship?). I'm planning to apply next year, but is that the optimal time based on my work experience? What schools do I stand a good chance at?
Any suggestions/advice will be welcome!
