Hi
tonytw,
Thank you for your post and for sharing your profile. You have a combination of excellent work experiences, academics, and GMAT score. I also find compelling you own affordable housing properties, especially in relation to your long-term career goals, and are also involved in the community. I think you have a competitive profile (quantitatively speaking), so be sure to develop the qualitative components of the MBA applications.
Putting a list together of your target schools takes time; I require more details on your background and your career aspirations to make recommendations. However, you can reference
this article which can help you in your selection process. Some schools that are strong in Reals Estate, and perhaps you should consider, are Wharton, UCLA Anderson, Columbia, Kellogg, and NYU. R1 applications are around the corner, so I recommend working on this in short order.

Hi,
Age:27
Undergrad: Bachelors of Economics and Political Science (small liberal arts college)
GPA: 3.56
Nationality: United States
Gmat: 720; 47Q42V; 5.5AW; 7IR
Work Exp: 60 months
Field: Commercial Lending; Finance; Regional banks in Pittsburgh
I work at a midsize regional Bank in Pittsburgh, doing commercial real estate loan underwriting. I also own and manage residential real estate myself. I own four affordable housing properties , with a total of 16 units. I also volunteer as Treasurer on the Board for a 501c3 Young Professional organization.
My goal is to pursue an MBA so that I can work in a top consulting firm (preferably in real estate, working with REITS) so that I can learn the specifics of the business. After 5+ years of that, I plan to take my knowledge and connections to form my own REIT that focuses on affordable housing.
My plan is to begin my MBA in the Fall of 2019. I would like to attend the best MBA program I can get into.
Any suggestions regarding my profile as to which MBAs (M7 if possible) I should apply for in R1?
Thank you,
Tony
