Hi,
Request a evaluation of my profile and an estimate of which schools to apply with my current score.
Here is my background:
GMAT History:
I had my GMAT retake recently and scored 710(Q48,V40).In my first attempt at GMAT,i scored 680(Q42,V41).Though its not much of an improvement, but i guess i want to apply with this score.
Actually, my main concern is whether this score can help me get into the B Schools of my choice.
I am looking forward to kelloggs, tuck, chicago booth,MIT Sloan and ISB India.Could you please let me know if it is a good idea to apply to these schools with this score? Do you think that with the current score,i stand a chance at Chicago booth and ISB especially?? Am i setting realistic goals by targeting ISB,Chicago Booth and Kellogg?
My Professional background:
1.IT experience of 5 years (India- Switched 3 jobs, all in Top MNCs)
2.Good academic scores in school and college( Topped my high school and have been a scholarship holder )
3.GPA -3(top 20 % - low GPA due to the nature of scoring system in University. How can i justify this in my application?)
4.Have volunteered occasionally in US and India, have been a volunteer leader in one of the big annual events of an organisation.
5.Avid Blogger and write poems/contributed for the monthly newsletter of one of the companies i worked for.
Do i stand a chance with my current score? With my work experience , is my profile a competitive one for the above schools? Or which US schools should i be targeting with the score i have??
Thanks in advance.
Kindly suggest.
