I am a 38 year old male with over 12 years of Sales & Marketing experience. Have worked with GE Capital in leadership positions for last 11 years both in India and SE Asia but primarily based out of India. I am also a graduate of GE's prestigious ECLP ( Experienced commercial Leadership program).
My GMAT score taken last month is 700 ( Quant 48 , verbal 38). Not sure if I would want to retake it...maybe not.
I want to know if I am too old for a normal MBA program. I am more interested in a full time MBA as I want to work either in US or Europe for next few years at least and MBA from US/european college would help me get a job there.
Could you suggest some really Good MBA colleges who would be interested in my profile
What do u suggest I should do to increase my chances to get into a full time MBA program?
If FT MBA is not suggested then are there any executive MBA programs in US/Europe which help in getting a job through their placement service?
I would really appreciate your revert

Hello Piyush, thanks for your question.
I never want to say that anything is impossible, but as you are already aware, you would have a better shot gaining admission to executive programs than full-time ones. Moreover, as you are probably also aware, your 700 GMAT score would not move the needle as much as it would otherwise, given that you come from an overrepresented demographic in the MBA applicant pool. Executive programs are more lenient about applicants’ GMAT scores.
The only person who can decide what the best programs are for you is you. I recommend assessing what your specific needs are (e.g., classes, majors, skill sets, experiences, recruiting, etc.) and researching which schools best fulfill those needs and have admissions standards that you can achieve.
There are certainly schools that are more tolerant of older candidates (e.g., Wharton, Booth). It couldn’t hurt to have a chat with their admissions offices, right? And, I’m sure there are more.
