That's helpful to know. In the US, I would start with the below preliminary list:

Reach: Northwestern (Kellogg), Yale (SOM)
Target: Duke (Fuqua), Michigan (Ross), Virginia (Darden)
Safety: Texas (McCombs), Georgetown (McDonough), Cornell (Johnson)

Is that generally in line with your thinking and ambitions? There are a ton of other contributing factors, so it's hard to say just based on what you have provided. If you'd like more help, please reach out to us for a free consultation so we can assess your background more effectively and walk you through our application support services.

Once again thank you for providing guidance but as per the schools mentioned by you. I'm not sure these safety and target school would have a brand name in India even if they did they would be overshadowed by IIM's. For eg...London business school is very well known in India & Insead is also famous among cooperate houses in India.

Understood. It's hard to really come up with a robust list that meets everyone's needs over a blog posting. The point is that it's just to get you started. Also, those are for the US. European schools - LBS and INSEAD - as you mentioned, are viable options too.

If you know the schools that meet your criteria - particularly international branding - you should go ahead with those! You have strong stats and should have a puncher's chance.

Good luck!
